Rev Replay: Fired Up and Fighting Back
Baseball: Fire, Fight, and Finally Some Momentum
After falling behind early against Kentucky, the Aggies showed serious resilience—storming back from a 7-1 deficit to take the win. Bear Harrison’s offensive explosion and Weston Moss’s lights-out relief pitching (six strikeouts, 70 pitches, three hits allowed) led the way, with Moss shutting the door and firing up the team in a way we hadn’t seen all season.
The energy was different. The hitting approach looked smarter, the players more focused, and the confidence returning. And yes, someone ate nine hot dogs. It might be a new superstition.
Softball: Still Rolling
The Aggies run-ruled both Sam Houston and UNT this week and remain one of the top-ranked teams in the nation. Head Coach Trisha Ford even called out one of our very own (ahem, Nayab) for not asking a question postgame. A little pressure from the coach, but it’s all love.
Golf & Tennis: Spring Climb Continues
Men’s golf finished seventh at the Valspar Collegiate, outperforming four teams ranked ahead of them. Women’s golf took ninth at the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate, beating programs like USC and Vanderbilt.
Both men’s and women’s tennis are cruising: the women sit at No. 3 nationally and just swept Kentucky, while the men are ranked No. 12 with four wins in their last five matches.
Track & Field: Records Keep Falling
Aggies posted the two fastest 1500m times in school history, and the men’s team is coming off a strong indoor season that included an SEC title and top-10 national finish. The outdoor season is now underway.
Boxing: One to Watch
Texas A&M men’s boxing is at nationals, and one standout—Sebastian Perez Negron—is competing for a title. He’s already taken down a much taller opponent and might bring home major hardware for the Aggies.
Buzz Watch: Is He Leaving?
There’s talk that Buzz Williams may be eyeing the open Maryland job. With eight seniors graduating and only two players returning, next year’s team is already going to look different. The crew breaks down what this could mean for the program—and whether it’s time for a new chapter focused on bringing in shooters to take the next step.
