Billie Eilish has taken the world by storm with the music she has put out. Billie is a seventeen-year-old artist from California who got the world’s attention when she released her song Ocean Eyes. Her music has a chill vibe to it, but it can also be very melodic. Her voice is super unique and the control she has in phenomenal. She has slowly become one of my favorite artists and I believe she has a lot to offer to the music industry. She is so different from the artists of our generation which I believe is the reason she has become so popular. Her music is catchy, but also has depth in their meanings.

Earlier this month Billie dropped her single, “wish you were gay” The song is super catchy and has the same vibe as her song’s “copycat” and “you should see me in a crown.” The song received a little bit of controversy due to the name of the title, but Billie has explained that she wrote the song in reaction to finding out a guy she liked did not like her back and wishes this

was the reason instead of the boy just not having feelings for her. I think the song is light, playful, and shows off the control she has in her voice. The song is super catchy, and I cannot stop listening to it. The beat drops are good and the vibe the song has is so soothing. This song is going to be on her new album that is coming out shortly. I am so excited for her album because she is insanely talented, and I feel underrated. Again, I believe Billie has a lot to offer to the music industry and I am curious to see where her career takes her in the future. If her tour was coming to Texas I would 100 percent buy a ticket, but sadly none of her tour dates are in Texas.
