Mala Luna Music Festival Returns to San Antonio
Mala Luna festival is back in San Antonio this year on Halloween weekend, featuring a lineup of artists within the hip-hop and EDM genres, as well as several Latin artists with international fame. Headliners include Cardi B, Nicky Jam, and Tyler the Creator, while the full lineup also features Lil Pump, Dillon Francis, and Rich the Kid. The festival also has continued to support San Antonio’s music scene and a few local artists are scheduled to perform, including Angel Cintron and Bambi. Although this festival presents many diverse artists on multiple outdoor stages, it is not solely focused on music – it will also feature live art installations, local food vendors and merchants, and many extravagant costumes and designs to help support and pay tribute to San Antonio’s annual Diá de los Muertos celebrations. The festival also donates a portion of its proceeds to the Network for Young Artists (NYA), an organization who, according to the festival’s website, is a local non-profit that provides affordable classes in voice, guitar, percussion, keyboard, and dance for San Antonio-area youth that range in ages from 4 to 20-years-old. This two-day festival is taking place on October 27-28 this year, and tickets are already available on their website, www.malaluna.com. Their two-day general admission tickets are $109 and their VIP options start at just $159. Check out their full lineup: Written by: Megan Pavel
