Four Artists Making the 2017 Festival Rounds

March 3, 2017

As the weather begins to change from warm to warmer to blisteringly hot, it also comes the time for all the music festivals and for our favorite artists to descend upon us if we are ever so lucky to afford a pass. Below are just a few of the artists that you can catch at multiple festivals if you find the time and the money. Catfish and the Bottlemen hail from Wales and are a rock band with a bit of a pop twist. They’re making the jump across the pond to play at Sasquatch!, Bottlerock, and Shaky Knees. Every song of theirs is a bop so if you’re making your way to any of these festivals, make sure to catch their set if you want to dance and let loose. Check out: Pacifier Dua Lipa is another artist from overseas, but this beaut has her home in London. If you like fun and “dancey” beats then you’ll be sure to enjoy one of her sets so be sure you find Dua Lipa at Bonnaroo and Governor’s Ball. Check Out: Be the One Hippo Campus is one band that you want to make sure you’re aware of. These dudes from Minnesota, with their indie sound accompanied with mellow beats, they’re a great way to just relax and let go. If these are two things you enjoy doing then you’ll want to hit up SXSW, Bonnaroo, Bottlerock, and Free Press Summer Fest. Check Out: Vines Twenty One Pilots is probably the most well-known band on this list. How can they not be with the way they’ve been blowing up in the past year, especially after being a Grammy Award Winning band. This duo hailing from Ohio will actually be headlining a couple festivals which is a big turn from just a couple of years ago. Make sure to check out this rocking band at Firefly, Hangout, and Sasquatch! Check Out: Heavydirtysoul Written by: Lizzie Goodfriend
